Special traffic arrangements on Hong Kong Island for public procession

     Police will implement special traffic arrangements on March 2 (Sunday) to facilitate a public procession to be held on Hong Kong Island.

     The procession will depart East Wing Forecourt of Central Government Offices at 1.15pm for the Designated Public Activity Areas outside Wan Chai Police Station, Arsenal Street via Tim Mei Avenue western pavement (southward), Harcourt Road northern pavement (westward), elevated walkway between Admiralty Centre and Central Government Offices, Harcourt Road southern pavement (eastward), Rodney Street eastern pavement (southward), Queensway northern pavement (eastward) and Arsenal Street western pavement (northward).

     All parking spaces at eastbound Lockhart Road between Arsenal Street and Fenwick Street will be suspended between noon and 5pm.

     Police will intermittently close some traffic lanes along the procession route when necessary. Motorists are advised to drive with care and patience, and to follow the instructions of the Police on site.
