The Water Supplies Department announced that, owing to a supply system fault at Wo Yip Hop Road near Cheung Wing Road, the fresh water supply to some premises in Kwai Chung and Tsuen Wan District will be suspended from 11pm today (February 23).
The suspension will affect all premises in the area bounded by Lei Muk Shue Estate, Shek Yam Estate, On Yam Estate, Shek Lei (I) Estate, Shek Lei (II) Estate, Yung Fung Court, Greenknoll Court, Wo Yi Hop Road, Tai Pak Tin Street, Shek Yam Road, Tai Loong Street, Kwai Shing Circuit, Kwai Shing East Estate, Kwai Shing West Estate, Kwai Luen Estate, Horizon Place, High Propersity Terrace, Chun Kwai House, Ha Kwai House and Chau Kwai House of Kwai Chung Estate in Kwai Chung District, Cheung Shan Estate, Sam Tung Uk Resite Village and Hoi Pa Resite Village in Tsuen Wan District.
Repair work is being urgently carried out and normal supply is expected to resume at 6am tomorrow (February 24).
