The following is issued on behalf of the Hong Kong Housing Authority:
In response to media enquiries today (February 21) on a report alleging that the Government is considering a new form of sales scheme for public rental housing (PRH) units, a spokesman for the Hong Kong Housing Authority (HA) said that the HA has no plan to sell PRH units. The HA is building PRH and Home Ownership Scheme estates and they will be clearly identified as such.
