The Highways Department today (February 21) invited tenders for retrofitting noise barriers on Tuen Mun Road – Town Centre Section (Contract No. HY/2013/19).
The works are expected to commence this August and will take about 36 months to complete. The works will mainly comprise retrofitting of noise barriers along Tuen Mun Road – Town Centre Section and the associated drainage, roadworks, geotechnical and landscaping works, traffic aids, and street lighting.
The Highways Department has appointed Mannings (Asia) Consultants Limited to design and supervise the construction works. Interested contractors can obtain the tender forms and other particulars from Mannings (Asia) Consultants Limited on 5th Floor, Winning Commercial Building, 46-48 Hillwood Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, Hong Kong.
Tender submissions should be placed in the Government Secretariat Tender Box located at the lobby of the Public Entrance on Ground Floor, East Wing, Central Government Offices, 2 Tim Mei Avenue, Tamar, Hong Kong. Submission of tenders will close at noon on April 4, 2014 (Friday).
