Class 7A to stage story of family love between father and daughter in March
**********************************************************

The Class 7A Drama Group (Class 7A) will stage its latest production, titled "daddi", in March.

Class 7A presented its inaugural production, "73A", 17 years ago -  the tale of a mother and her son on the way to visit the father in hospital. The entire play consisted of the dialogue between mother and son during the bus ride, but the content was enough to touch audiences' hearts. Fast forward to 2014 and the group's artistic director, Leung Shing-him, has written a new play which takes a fresh look at familial relationships from the angle of father and daughter.

A daughter in her late 20s calls on her retiring father one day to meet and chat. It starts awkwardly at first - for many years have they not done this - sitting close to each other. They have a lot to talk about - from work to love, from memories to the future, from regrets to the meaning of life. They chat on and on, spending a heartwarming afternoon together and exchanging their feelings and thoughts. There is no dramatic dialogue, but a memorable time well spent, and one which will be remembered.

Directed by Terence Chang and performed by Liu Kai-chi and Grace Yuen, "daddi" is another memorable play to warm the hearts of all fathers, mothers and their children.

"daddi" is presented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department. It will be performed in Cantonese at 8pm from March 20 to 23 (Thursday to Sunday) and at 3pm on March 22 and 23 (Saturday and Sunday) at the Black Box Theatre of Kwai Tsing Theatre. Tickets priced at $220 (free-seating) are now available at URBTIX outlets, on the Internet and by credit card telephone booking.
