Following is the transcript of remarks made by the Secretary for Food and Health, Dr Ko Wing-man, after attending the Spring Gathering of the Hospital Authority this evening (February 10):
Reporter: (On potential sites for isolation of live poultry from the Mainland before confirmation of testing of avian influenza.)
Secretary for Food and Health: For the sites identified, we have encountered some difficulties, mainly because of the fact that the (possible) site will need to have some basic facilities to satisfy the requirement for infection control (against avian influenza).
