Government to sell three sites by public tender

     The Lands Department announced today (January 28) that a commercial site and two residential sites in the 2013-14 Land Sale Programme will be disposed of by public tender.

     The three sites are New Kowloon Inland Lot No. 6410 at 650 Cheung Sha Wan Road, Kowloon; Shau Kei Wan Inland Lot No. 854 at the junction of Oi Kan Road and Oi Tak Street, Shau Kei Wan, Hong Kong and Sha Tin Town Lot No. 604 at Mei Tin Road, Tai Wai, Sha Tin, New Territories. The tender invitation for the three lots will commence on February 21 and close on April 4.

     New Kowloon Inland Lot No. 6410 has a site area of about 1,498.4 square metres and is designated for non-industrial (excluding private residential, godown and petrol filling station) purposes. The minimum gross floor area and the maximum gross floor area are 10,788 sq m and 17,980 sq m respectively. Both include the gross floor area of a Government Accommodation, being a post office and ancillary parking, loading and unloading area, to be constructed by the purchaser.

     Shau Kei Wan Inland Lot No. 854 has a site area of about 476.4 sq m and is designated for private residential purposes. The minimum gross floor area and the maximum gross floor area are 2,572 sq m and 4,287 sq m respectively.

     Sha Tin Town Lot No. 604 has a site area of about 687 sq m and is designated for non-industrial (excluding godown, hotel and petrol filling station) purposes. The minimum gross floor area is 2,474 sq m. The maximum gross floor area for non-industrial (excluding godown, hotel, petrol filling station and private residential) purposes is 2,061 sq m and the maximum gross floor area for private residential purposes is computed according to the relevant special condition in the Conditions of Sale.

     The final Conditions of Sale for the three lots will be available for distribution to the public and uploaded to the Lands Department's website (www.landsd.gov.hk) by February 21, when the particulars of the tender will also be gazetted.
