Tenders awarded for commercial site and residential site

     The Lands Department today (January 15) announced that the tenders for a commercial site and a residential site have been awarded on 50-year land grants at a total premium of $3,979.1 million.

     The commercial site, Kwun Tong Inland Lot No. 761 at the junction of Hang Yip Street, Wai Yip Street, Yan Yip Street and Kwun Tong Road, Kwun Tong, Kowloon, was awarded to Sunstone KB (HKSAR) Limited (parent company : Mapletree Investments Pte Limited) at $3,769 million. The residential site, Sha Tin Town Lot No. 603 at Lok Lam Road, Fo Tan, Sha Tin, New Territories, was awarded to Eltara Limited (parent company: AG Acquisition O (BVI) Limited) at $210.1 million.

     "Authority from the Central Tender Board was given to the Lands Department to award the two sites to the highest tenderers," a Lands Department spokesman said.

     The tenderers, other than the successful tenderer, in respect of each lot in alphabetical order with the name of the parent company where provided by the tenderer in brackets were:

     Kwun Tong Inland Lot No. 761 has a site area of about 5,112 square metres and is designated for non-industrial (excluding residential, hotel, godown, petrol filling station and residential care home) purposes. The minimum gross floor area and the maximum gross floor area are 36,806 sq m and 61,344 sq m respectively.

     Sha Tin Town Lot No. 603 has a site area of about 1,190 sq m and is designated for private residential purposes. The minimum gross floor area and the maximum gross floor area are 1,499 sq m and 2,499 sq m respectively.
