Over the past two weeks the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) and the Police held 15 seminars on identifying counterfeit notes, which were attended by some 3 000 people. Apart from banking staff, the HKMA also invited employees of large retail businesses and catering operators to improve their ability to detect counterfeit notes.   Close
