The Transport Department (TD) today (December 30) reminded the public, in particular residents of the outlying islands, that special ferry service arrangements will be implemented tomorrow (December 31) in connection with marine traffic control measures in Victoria Harbour to facilitate the 2014 New Year countdown celebrations.
Under the special arrangements, the last sailings of the ferry routes plying between Central and the outlying islands will be advanced, and the services will not resume until the small hours on January 1, 2014 (Wednesday). Please see attachment for details.
The ferry operators concerned will display notices at piers to advise passengers of the above service arrangements.
