The No.3 alarm fire at Continental Mansion, 290-304 King's Road, North Point today (December 29) was surrounded at 9.14am and largely put out at 9.23am.
Firemen used three jets and mobilising four breathing apparatus teams to fight the blaze.
19 people were sent to the hospitals so far.
