The Legislative Council (LegCo) held a lunch gathering today (December 16) in the Dining Hall of the LegCo Complex. A total of 23 former Members and 20 incumbent Members participated in the event.
To tie in with the "Our Legislative Council - Then and Now" special programme held from December 5 to January 28, 2014, former Members were invited to participate in the special guided educational tours of the LegCo Complex to share their insights and experience with students. Four former Members took part in these tours. The highlights of these tours are the thematic exhibition of a timeline showing the evolution of the composition and functions of the Legislature, and public engagement in LegCo business as well as a display of valuable historical photos and selective archival holdings of the Legislature.
