CE congratulates Chang'e 3's successful landing on the moon

The Chief Executive, Mr C Y Leung, today (December 14) congratulated the country on the successful landing on the moon of the lunar probe Chang'e-3. The success made our country the third nation in the world to soft-land on the moon.
"On behalf of the HKSAR Government, I extend my sincere congratulations to the country. I am proud of the young scientists who have participated in this moon exploration. I also expect more achievements will be attained by this mission, and wish Hong Kong's experts in science and technology can take part in various fields of our country's scientific research," Mr Leung said.
