The opening ceremony of the Legislative Council (LegCo) Children's Gallery was held today (December 13) to display entries received from kindergarten students of a colouring activity.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the Children's Gallery, the President of LegCo and Chairman of the Legislative Council Commission, Mr Jasper Tsang, said that the display of children's entries help beautify the environment and add joyful atmosphere to LegCo.
The construction work to extend the CITIC Tower Footbridge to the LegCo Complex has commenced and is expected to be completed by the end of June 2015. For safety reasons, hoardings have been erected around the works area outside the LegCo Complex.
To make use of the hoardings for beautification purpose, entries received from kindergarten students of a colouring activity have been displayed on the hoardings until their demolition.
