The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced today (December 12) that the following leisure and sports facilities will be temporarily closed:
(a) The 11-a-side natural turf soccer pitch and its ancillary facilities, including washrooms and changing rooms, at Kowloon Bay Park in Kwun Tong District will be closed from December 16 for conversion into an artificial turf pitch. The conversion work is scheduled to be completed in October 2014. During the closure period, the public may use similar facilities at the nearby Kowloon Bay Sports Ground.
(b) Hoi Bun Road Sitting-out Area in Kwun Tong District will be closed from December 16 for redevelopment work, which is scheduled to be completed in May 2014. During the closure period, the public may use the nearby Kwun Tong Promenade.
