SEN and Islands District delegation to visit waste-to-energy facility in Macau

The Secretary for the Environment, Mr Wong Kam-sing, and a delegation from the Islands District will pay a visit to the Macau Incineration Plant tomorrow morning (December 7) to learn about the development of waste management facilities in Macau.
The delegation comprises about 30 representatives from the Islands District Council and local organisations. Mr Wong and the delegation will be briefed by officials of the Environmental Protection Bureau in Macau on its environmental infrastructure and visit the waste-to-energy facilities of the incineration plant.
Mr Wong and the delegation will return to Hong Kong on the same day.
