Police are investigating a traffic accident in Ngau Tau Kok this morning (December 6) in which a 45-year-old woman died.
About 4.39am, a motorcycle driven by the 45-year-old woman was travelling along Lung Cheung Road Flyover towards Tsuen Wan. Upon reaching near Wong Shek House, Ping Shek Estate, the motorcycle reportedly lost control and rammed into a kerb.
Sustaining serious head injuries, the driver was rushed to United Christian Hospital in unconscious state where she was certified dead at 5.13am. An 18-year-old female passenger sustained hand injuries and was sent to United Christian Hospital in conscious state.
Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Kowloon East are underway.
