Fatal fire in Kwai Chung

A 63-year-old man died in a No.1 alarm fire in Shek Lei (I) Estate, Kwai Chung this morning (November 30).
The fire broke out at a domestic unit on 10th floor, about 5 metres x 7 metres, Shek Sau House, Shek Lei (I) Estate, at 2.29am this morning.
Firemen used one jet and mobilised one breathing apparatus team to fight the blaze. The fire was largely put out at 2.54pm. About 20 persons were led to place of safety by firemen.
Firemen found an unconscious man at the scene. The man was then sent to Princess Margaret Hospital where he was later certified dead.
Initial reports said that the cause of the fire was not suspicious.
