The Police Recruitment Day cum Probationary Inspector Express 2013 organised by the Hong Kong Police Force today (November 30) at the Police Headquarters attracted more than 1 400 applications.
The event provided one-stop service to applicants for the post of Probationary Inspector (PI), which included initial screening and scheduling of written examination, and to applicants for the post of Recruit Police Constable (RPC) with initial screening and group interview.
There were also four experience-sharing sessions for applicants to enhance understanding of police work to better prepare themselves for the subsequent selection process.
The recruitment target for the financial year 2013-14 is over 200 PIs and 990 RPCs. As at October 31, 137 PIs and 600 RPCs have been recruited. The overall recruitment situation is smooth and on schedule.
