Argentina's pain and passion choreographed in "Divino Tango"
************************************************************

Pasiones Company will perform "Divino Tango" in January, offering audiences fascinating choreographed dance scenes of a vibrant and passionate Argentina.

Presented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, "Divino Tango" is a masterly production with superb and imaginative staging, and boasts Erica Boaglio and Adrián Aragón as the show's creators, choreographers, directors and indisputable stars. Sensuous and elegant, the performance delivers great emotional impact and takes the audience on a fascinating and breathtaking journey through Argentina.

Superb lighting, choreography and music provide a lively and colourful backdrop for the artistry of the dancers. The score has been carefully selected for the show, with original music by Luis Corallini and pieces by Astor Piazzola, Osvaldo Pugliese and Francisco Canaro.

Aside from being the founders and stars of the company, Boaglio and Aragón are the foundation of its refined and refreshing style. Throughout their careers as dancers and choreographers, they have created many world-class works which have charmed audiences and won the respect and recognition of the international press. Since 1994 they have appeared in over 2,000 performances on prestigious stages around the world, whether in their own productions or taking up major roles in premier tango companies. They have also created film choreographies for singers on the world stage, allowing for the expansion of Pasiones Company into new markets keen to share their wonderful vision of Argentinian energy and art.

Hailed by members of the press as the indisputable reference point for tango in the new century, Pasiones Company has impressed critiques with its uniqueness as well as the brilliant structuring of its shows. But above all the company is acclaimed for its accurate reflection of Argentina today, with its flamboyant successes as well as its dramatic miseries.
