The Legislative Council (LegCo) Secretariat announced its participation in "Green Monday". Starting from today (November 25), the LegCo Cafeteria and Coffee Corner, located at the Main Lobby and on 5/F of the LegCo Complex respectively, will offer green menus every Monday in addition to the regular ones in order to advocate low carbon and green living.
To publicise "Green Monday", a kick-off ceremony was held today at the LegCo Cafeteria. LegCo Members, the Secretary General of the Secretariat and the co-founders of Green Monday shared their experience of adopting green diet. Members attending the ceremony included Mr Chan Hak-kan, Mr Alan Leong, Mr Ng Leung-sing, Mr Steven Ho, Mr Gary Fan, Mr Chan Chi-chuen, Dr Kwok Ka-ki, Dr Elizabeth Quat and Dr Lo Wai-kwok.
