The Yuen Long Theatre X'mas Fun Day, which is jointly presented by the Yuen Long Theatre of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department and Theatre Noir, the Yuen Long Theatre Venue Partner, will be held on Sunday (December 1) from 2pm to 5.30pm. The event will feature a variety of delightful and participatory free admission programmes and game stalls to share the joy of Christmas.
Theatre Noir will hold a series of programmes at the Yuen Long Theatre foyer and exhibition corner, including a face painting workshop, sign language dance, a drama performance by the Tin Shui Wai (North) Integrated Family Service Centre of the International Social Service Hong Kong Branch, a preview with musical excerpts from "A Charles Dickens Christmas", the "Christmas Carol" storytelling session and the "TN Kids Musical Playhouse" workshop. All of the day's activities are suitable for children.
Also not to be missed are the fun outdoor family activities in the Theatre Avenue. Participants can join the "Handicraft DIY" workshop, an inflatable game, a planting workshop, a hand painting workshop and interactive play zones, as well as enjoy the performances of roving artists. There will also be choral singing by the Yuen Long District Arts Committee Treble Choir, a symphonic band performance by Tin Shui Wai Symphonic Winds, band music by different local non-governmental organizations, jazz dance, breaking and hip-hop dance performances, and mime, magic show and sign language song performances.
