Mrs Choi Ma On-ki will assume the post of District Officer (Wong Tai Sin) tomorrow (November 25), succeeding Mr Willam Shiu Wai-chuen.
Mrs Choi joined the Executive Officer Grade in 1980. She has served in various bureaux and departments including the Home Affairs Department, the former City and New Territories Administration, the former Recreation and Culture Department, the former Municipal Services Branch, the former Civil Service Branch, the Office of the Commissioner for Administrative Complaints (later renamed Office of The Ombudsman, Hong Kong), the former Urban Services Department, the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department, the Leisure and Cultural Services Department and the Civil Service Bureau.
She was the Assistant Director of Home Affairs (Special Duties) before taking up the new post.
