Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Chai Wan in the small hours of today (November 2) in which a 26-year-old man was killed.
About 0.20am, a motorcycle driven by the 26-year-old man was travelling along Shek O Road towards Shek O. When approaching near Lan Nai Wan Village, it reportedly lost control and collided with a private car travelling on the opposite lane.
Sustaining multiple injuries, the motorcyclist was rushed to Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital in unconscious state where he was certified dead at 1.20am.
Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Hong Kong Island are underway.
