The Highways Department (HyD) today (October 25) invited tenders for two term contracts for the management and maintenance of roads excluding high speed roads in Kowloon East and Kowloon West respectively (contract no. 08/HY/2013 and 09/HY/2013).
The contract for Kowloon East will last for four years from April 1, 2014 to March 31, 2018 while the one for Kowloon West will last for six year from April 1, 2014 to March 31, 2020. The works mainly comprise the management and maintenance of public roads excluding high speed roads in Kowloon East/West, including associated slopes, highway structures, landscaping and minor improvement works. The two contracts will be supervised by the Urban Region of the HyD.
Interested contractors can obtain the tender forms and other particulars from the office of Chief Highway Engineer/Kowloon, Urban Region, Highways Department on the 13th Floor, Nan Fung Commercial Centre, 19 Lam Lok Street, Kowloon Bay, Kowloon.
Tender submissions should be placed in the Government Secretariat Tender Box located at the lobby of the Public Entrance on the Ground Floor, East Wing, Central Government Offices, 2 Tim Mei Avenue, Tamar, Hong Kong. Submission of tenders will close at noon on December 6, 2013 (Friday).
