The Town Planning Board today (October 18) announced amendments to the approved Mui Wo Fringe Outline Zoning Plan (OZP).
The amendments mainly involve the rezoning of a site at the western end of Ngan Kwong Wan Road from "Government, Institution or Community" ("G/IC") to "Residential (Group A)" ("R(A)") for public housing development, and a site to the west of Ngan Wan Estate from "G/IC" to "Undetermined" ("U"). Opportunity is also taken to amend the Notes and Explanatory Statement to reflect the above amendments and to update the general information of various land use zones.
The draft Mui Wo Fringe OZP No. S/I-MWF/9 incorporating the amendments is now available for public inspection during office hours at the Secretariat of the Town Planning Board, the Planning Enquiry Counters of the Planning Department in North Point and Sha Tin, the Sai Kung and Islands District Planning Office, the Islands District Office and the Mui Wo Rural Committee.
Any person can make written representation in respect of the amendments to the Secretary of the Town Planning Board on or before December 18. Representations made to the Town Planning Board will be available for public inspection.
Copies of the draft OZP are available for sale at the Map Publications Centres in North Point and Yau Ma Tei. The electronic version of the OZP can be viewed on the Town Planning Board's website (www.info.gov.hk/tpb).
