| The Financial Secretary, Mr John C Tsang, attended a reception today (October 9, New York time) to celebrate Hong Kong's architecture and urbanisation at the "Practical Utopias: Global Urbanism in Hong Kong, Seoul, Shanghai, Singapore and Tokyo" exhibition. The exhibition, which runs at the Centre for Architecture through January 18, 2014, was organised by the American Institute of Architects New York Chapter with support from the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office, New York (HKETONY). The exhibition showcases influential projects such as the IFC and ICC mixed-use developments, transportation hubs such as Hong Kong International Airport, Kai Tak Cruise Terminal and Express Rail Link West Kowloon Terminus, and major cultural projects such as the West Kowloon Cultural District. More than 100 guests from the architectural, design and business sectors attended the reception, which was hosted by the HKETONY. |
