Following is a transcript of remarks by the Chief Executive, Mr C Y Leung, at a media session in Bali, Indonesia this morning (October 6) after a meeting with President Xi Jinping:

Reporter: Mr Leung, could you tell us what you and Mr Xi talked about, especially about the political reform progress in Hong Kong?

Chief Executive: I reported to President Xi the work that the HKSAR government has done so far, and the President reiterated the fundamental principle of the political reform having to adhere to the stipulations in the Basic Law and also the NPC Standing Committee decisions.
