The following is issued on behalf of the Pharmacy and Poisons Board of Hong Kong:
The Pharmacy and Poisons Board of Hong Kong announced today (September 23) the results of the Registration Examination for Pharmacists held in June 2013.
There were 86, 71 and 126 candidates sitting for examinations in "Pharmacy Legislation in Hong Kong", "Pharmacy Practice" and "Pharmacology" respectively, with corresponding passing rates of 55.8 per cent, 77.5 per cent and 54.0 per cent.
In addition to meeting other requirements prescribed by the Board, any pharmacy graduate outside Hong Kong intending to be registered as a pharmacist in Hong Kong is required to pass the above three subjects.
The Board conducts its Registration Examination twice a year, usually in June and December.
