Please note that as typhoon Usagi is approaching Hong Kong, the closed meeting of the Legislative Council (LegCo) Public Accounts Committee and the meeting of the LegCo Bills Committee on Stamp Duty (Amendment) Bill 2013 scheduled for tomorrow (September 23) at 10am and 10.45am respectively in the LegCo Complex shall be cancelled if the Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above or Black Rainstorm Signal is issued and/or remains in force two hours before the appointed time of the meeting, unless directed otherwise by the Chairmen of the Committees concerned.
In addition, if the Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above or Black Rainstorm Signal is issued and/or remains in force two hours before the scheduled time of the guided educational tours of the LegCo Complex, the tours will be cancelled. Other visits to various facilities in the LegCo Complex by members of the public including visit to the Children's Corner and the use of services provided by the LegCo Library will also be suspended.
Services provided for members of the public will be resumed two hours after the Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No 8 or above or Black Rainstorm Signal is lifted. However, if the Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No 8 or above or Black Rainstorm Signal is cancelled at or after 4pm, services will be suspended for the whole day. Members of the public or groups affected may contact the LegCo Secretariat at 3919 3441 during office hours to re-schedule their visits.
