HAD opens centres for heat shelter seekers

     The Home Affairs Department's 14 temporary heat shelters open today (September 20) while the Very Hot Weather Warning (VHWW) is in force.

     These shelters will be closed at 10pm if the VHWW is cancelled before 4.30pm or else the centres will be opened until 8am tomorrow.    

     For further information, please call the department's enquiries hotline before midnight on 2835 1473.

     The 14 centres are located at:
