The Lands Department today (September 18) announced that the tenders for two residential sites have been awarded on 50-year land grants at a total premium of $2,529,788,888.
Sha Tin Town Lot No. 578 in Area 56A, Kau To, Sha Tin, New Territories, was awarded to Eminent Gold Investments Limited (parent company: Paliburg Holdings Limited and Regal Hotels International Holdings Limited) at $2,389,888,888. Inland Lot No. 9049 at Sik On Street, Wan Chai, Hong Kong, was awarded to Joint Rise Development Limited (parent company: Sino Land Company Limited) at $139.9 million.
"Authority from the Central Tender Board was given to the Lands Department to award the two sites to the highest tenderers," a Lands Department spokesman said.
The tenderers, other than the successful tenderer, in respect of each lot in alphabetical order with the name of the parent company where provided by the tenderer in brackets are listed in the Annex.
Sha Tin Town Lot No. 578 has a site area of about 17,476 square metres and is designated for private residential purposes. The minimum gross floor area and the maximum gross floor area are 19,484 sq m and 32,474 sq m respectively.
Inland Lot No. 9049 at Sik On Street has a site area of about 208 sq m and is designated for private residential purposes. The minimum gross floor area and the maximum gross floor area are 624 sq m and 1,040 sq m respectively.
