Police will implement special traffic arrangements on Friday (September 20) and Sunday (September 22) to facilitate two public processions to be held on Hong Kong Island.
The procession on September 20 will depart from the rest garden on Bonham Strand West at 10am for the open space on Wing Lok Street near Morrison Street, via Bonham Strand West (eastward), southbound Bonham Strand, westbound Queen¡¦s Road West, Li Sing Street (northward), westbound Ko Shing Street, eastbound Des Voeux Road West and eastbound Wing Lok Street.
The procession on September 22 will depart from the open space on Wing Lok Street near Morrison Street at 3pm for the rest garden on Bonham Strand West via westbound Bonham Strand and westbound Bonham Strand West.
Police will intermittently close some traffic lanes along the procession routes when necessary. Motorists are advised to drive with care and patience, and follow the instruction of the Police on site.
