Fatal traffic accident in Mong Kok

     Police are investigating a traffic accident today (September 14) in Mong Kok in which a 51-year-old man died.

     About 7.20am, when a coach driven by a 45-year-old man turned left from a car park at 193 Prince Edward Road West to westbound of the road, it reportedly knocked down a 51-year-old man who was crossing the road.

     The pedestrian sustained serious head injuries and was certified dead at scene.

     The coach driver was arrested for dangerous driving causing death and is being detained for enquiries.

     Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon West, are underway.
