To tie in with the three-month public consultation of the Long Term Housing Strategy (LTHS) consultation document, the LTHS Steering Committee will arrange three public regional fora for members of the public to express their views.
Invitation to registration of interest in attending these fora has already been posted on the website of the Transport and Housing Bureau (www.thb.gov.hk). The first public regional forum will take place at Leighton Hill Community Hall, Wan Chai on September 23 at 7.30pm. Apart from inviting members of the local community, seats are also available for interested members of the public. A spokesman for the Secretariat of the LTHS Steering Committee today (September 13) reminds members of the public that 6pm, next Monday (September 16) is the deadline of registration for the first public forum and limited seats are still available. Anyone who would like to participate in this forum can call the hotline 8108 8632 before the deadline to register. Due to limited seats available, each registered person can reserve up to two seats on a first-come-first-served basis.
Details of the other two public fora and three fora for concern groups and stakeholders are as attached.
The six fora will all be conducted primarily in Cantonese with simultaneous interpretation into English.
