The following is issued on behalf of the Housing Authority:
In response to media enquiries, a spokesman for the Housing Authority (HA) said today (September 6), "The sales exercise of Surplus Home Ownership Scheme (HOS) Phase 7 closed today, with all the 832 flats sold."
The HA offered 832 flats for sale in Phase 7, comprising 825 flats in Tin Chung Court at Tin Shui Wai and seven others in five different HOS courts. Some 14,200 applications were received, of which about 13,200 were White Forms and about 1,000 were Green Forms. The exercise saw 365 Green Form applicants and 467 White Form applicants successfully buy flats.
The last two successful applicants signed the Sales and Purchase Agreements today.
