Beaches in Southern District and Islands District reopened

The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced today (August 20) that the shark prevention nets at Big Wave Bay Beach in Southern District, Hong Kong Island, as well as those at Hung Shing Yeh Beach in Islands District, have been repaired and the beaches have reopened.
The beaches were temporarily closed earlier for shark prevention net maintenance works.
