Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Tin Shui Wai this morning (August 19) in which a 67-year-old man was killed.
About 8.55am, a Light Rail train driven by a 30-year-old man was travelling along Tin Yiu Road to Tin Yat Station. When approaching near Tin Wu Road, the train reportedly knocked down the 67-year-old man who was crossing the Light Rail pedestrian crossing.
The man sustained serious injuries and was certified dead at scene.
Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories North are underway.
