Here is an item of interest to swimmers.
The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced today (August 15) that Cheung Chau Tung Wan Beach, Kwun Yam Beach and Lo So Shing Beach in Islands District are temporarily closed until further notice for maintenance of shark prevention nets damaged by Typhoon Utor. Red flags have been hoisted at the beaches. Beach-goers are advised not to swim at these beaches.
