Here is an item of interest to swimmers.
The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced today (August 14) that Upper Cheung Sha Beach, Lower Cheung Sha Beach, Pui O Beach, Tong Fuk Beach and Hung Shing Yeh Beach in Islands District and Big Wave Bay Beach in Southern District are temporarily closed until further notice for maintenance of shark prevention nets. Red flags have been hoisted at these beaches. Beach-goers are advised not to swim at these beaches.
