The following is issued on behalf of the Hospital Authority:
The Hospital Authority spokesman said today (August 14) that a total of nine people sought treatment at Accident and Emergency Departments at public hospitals due to accidents that occurred when the Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal was hoisted. They were aged between 26 and 84, and three were men and six were women. A total of four people (two male and two female) were admitted to hospitals while five were discharged. The conditions of the patients staying at hospitals were stable.
