Arrangements of the "Alice and Eleonore Schoenfeld 1st International String Competition"

Attention duty announcers, radio and TV stations:

Please broadcast the following message as soon as possible and repeat it at suitable intervals:

     The spokesman for the Leisure and Cultural Services Department today (August 14) announced that due to the issue of tropical cyclone signal No.8, the "Alice and Eleonore Schoenfeld 1st International String Competition" presented by the Grandmaster Orchestral Music Society scheduled for today at the Auditorium/Cultural Activities Hall/Exhibition Gallery of the Tsuen Wan Town Hall would be re-arranged as follows:

* All competition would be held as scheduled if tropical cyclone signal No.8 or above is cancelled on or before 7am;
* Competition in the afternoon and evening would be held as scheduled if tropical cyclone signal No.8 or above is cancelled at or before noon;
* All competition in the evening would be held as scheduled, if tropical cyclone signal No.8 or above is cancelled at or before 6pm;
* All competition would be cancelled if tropical cyclone signal No.8 or above is cancelled after 6pm.

     The order of the competition may be re-arranged due to the inclement weather. Participants are advised to contact the organiser, the Grandmaster Orchestral Music Society, for any further update. All final decisions are to be made by the organiser.
