Drama Gallery to stage "Lost in Hong Kong" in September
*******************************************************

Drama Gallery will stage its latest deeply touching production, entitled "Lost in Hong Kong", in September. The theatre company's previous production was the award-winning "nitehawk".

Coming from different walks of life with different values, four women of different ages are in a city centre looking out to a harbour shrouded in fog. Each woman has a heart-rending story of her own. As the four become more closely linked, they come to influence each other. Their watches may show different times and their paths may be different, but at some point they can meet at a crossroads. At the flower shop of a funeral parlour, an ending signifies yet another beginning.

The production is directed by Yu Hon-ting and the cast includes Gladys Liu and Brenda Chan, who have won Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress at the Hong Kong Drama Awards, as well as Lana Leem, Tam Tsz-ling, Ko Kai-cheung and Wu Chun-him.

"Lost in Hong Kong" is presented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department. It will be performed in Cantonese at 8pm on September 20, 21 and 22 (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) and at 3pm on September 21 and 22 (Saturday and Sunday) at the Theatre of Sheung Wan Civic Centre. Tickets priced at $120 and $180 are now available at URBTIX outlets, on the Internet and by telephone credit card booking. Half-price tickets are available for full-time students, senior citizens aged 60 or above, people with disabilities and their minders and Comprehensive Social Security Assistance (CSSA) recipients (limited tickets for full-time students and CSSA recipients are available on a first-come, first-served basis). A maximum discount of 20 per cent is offered for the group booking package. Post-performance talks will be held after the matinee shows on September 21 and 22.
