Proposed retrofitting of lifts at footbridge near Tin Ma Court, Wong Tai Sin, gazetted

     The Government published a notice in the Gazette today (August 9) on the proposed retrofitting of lifts at the existing footbridge No. KF57 across Lung Cheung Road near Tin Ma Court, Wong Tai Sin, with the aim of providing barrier-free access to the public.

     The proposed works include:

(i) construction of two lifts, one at each end of the existing footbridge;

(ii) construction of elevated platforms connecting the two lifts mentioned above to the existing footbridge; and

(iii) ancillary works including drainage, lighting and electrical and mechanical works.

     The plan and scheme of the works are available for public inspection at the following government offices during office hours:

     Any person who wishes to object to the proposed works or their use, or both, should write to the Secretary for Transport and Housing, 22nd Floor, East Wing, Central Government Offices, 2 Tim Mei Avenue, Tamar, Hong Kong, on or before October 8, 2013.
