SEN to study natural gas processing facilities in Zhuhai

The Secretary for the Environment, Mr Wong Kam-sing, will visit Zhuhai tomorrow morning (August 6) to study the natural gas processing facilities there.
Since 1996, the Mainland has been providing natural gas to Hong Kong for electricity generation. The purpose of the visit is to get a better understanding of energy infrastructure in Hong Kong's neighbouring areas and the potential for energy co-operation between Hong Kong and the Mainland.
Mr Wong will conclude his visit and return to Hong Kong in the evening on the same day.
