Picture shows a robe worn by Emperor Yongzheng during his period (1723-1735). This bright yellow satin robe with dragons in clouds, and ermine lining was worn in winter on important ceremonial occasions including offering sacrifice and performing ploughing ritual at the Altar of the God of Agriculture.   Close
