Appeal for information on dead body found in Castle Peak (with photo)

     Police today (July 19) appealed to the public for information on a dead body found in Castle Peak on June 14.

     At about 1.30pm on that day, Police received a report that a male body was found floating in the sea off a construction site on Nim Wan Road, Tuen Mun.  

     The deceased was believed to be a Chinese male aged about 26. He was about 1.7 metres tall and of medium build with short black hair. He was wearing black shorts when he was found. An identity document bearing the name of ¡§Tu Ri-liang¡¨ was also found in his possession.

     Initial investigations revealed no suspicious circumstance surrounding his death.

    Police urged anyone who knows the deceased or has any information to offer to contact officers of the Miscellaneous Enquiries Sub-unit of Castle Peak Division at 3661 5935 or 3661 5936.
