Oi!'s debut exhibit is wet, wet, wet
************************************

It is a case of water, water everywhere at "Oi!" in North Point. Water is in the air, on the ground, below the ground, in pictures and in sound.

The first exhibition in this re-christened century-old grade II historic building is "Embark! Beyond the Horizon", using water in various forms as its theme to echo Oi!'s importance as the only remaining building of the original pre-reclamation 1930s North Point coastline.

Oi! falls under the Leisure and Cultural Services Department's Art Promotion Office's management. Its Chinese name reflects its address at 12 Oil Street, and also suggests that artists can realise their creative dreams. Its English name, Oi!, urges people to unlock their creative potential and enrich Hong Kong's cultural life.

The story appears today (July 7) in news.gov.hk in both text and video format.
