Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Sheung Shui yesterday (July 2) in which a 25-year-old man was killed.
At 5.52pm yesterday, a medium goods vehicle (MGV) driven by a 51-year-old man was travelling along Fanling Highway towards Sheung Shui. When approaching near Wo Hop Shek, the MGV reportedly hit a motorcycle driven by the 25-year-old man.
Sustaining serious injuries to his chest, the motorcyclist was rushed to Prince of Wales Hospital in unconscious state and was certified dead at 3.09am today.
Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories North, are underway.
