"Blind Photographers" (Take 3) by Heiquan Theatre turns solo work into show for two actors
************************************************************

The mime performance "Blind Photographers" by Heiquan Theatre will be staged for the third time this August. The latest production will transform the theatre work from a solo performance into a show for two actors. The new version is set to be deeply touching with each flash and capture of the camera.

Art critic Dr Cheung Ping-kuen expressed the following on the theatre work: "The emotional and enjoyable scenes accurately and strongly revealed the meaning of blind photography. That was so touching."

The story is about two photographers, one born blind and the other losing his eyesight after an accident. They don't know each other, but they share one thing in common: using their cameras, they want to put their hopes into that smooth surface called a photograph, an object which holds a bright world that would forever live in their hearts. They want to use their cameras to tell what they have gone through, something they have never shared before. As scene after scene appears on photosensitive paper, stories appear to warm your heart, make you thankful, give you joy and make you sigh.

Concept creator, director and actor Chiu Kin-tong will collaborate with actor Danny Chan in the production, and Idy Law is serving as the producer.

Presented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD), "Blind Photographers" (Take 3) by Heiquan Theatre will be staged at 8pm on August 2 and 3 (Friday and Saturday) and at 3pm on August 4 (Sunday) at the Multi-Media Theatre, HKICC Lee Shau Kee School of Creativity.
